How to tell if a dog is healthy?

Judge a dog’s health from several angles. Check the appearance: a healthy coat is smooth and glossy with no spots, scaling, redness, or scabs, and no excess eye discharge, ear odor, bad breath, or odd weight. Watch behavior: a healthy dog is energetic, responsive, and eats normally, without sleepiness or poor appetite. Finally, check the stool is formed with no worms, blood, softness, or diarrhea.
