What is the difference between a French Bulldog and a Pug?

The French Bulldog and Pug differ clearly in size, looks, and personality. The Frenchie is larger; the Pug is smaller in both height and weight. The Frenchie’s ears stand up as it grows, while the Pug’s ears drop and cling to the head.

The Pug has more facial folds and a round head. By contrast, the Frenchie has fewer wrinkles and a squarer head.
