Turtle not eating for nearly two weeks, neck stretched, alert limbs

Expert Answer

Turtles tolerate hunger; two weeks without food is usually fine. Besides new-environment stress, temperature or illness may be the cause. They like 25 to 28 C, eating well then; below 20 C they eat less.

The photo shows no obvious problem, so adjust water temperature or lure with shrimp meat.
