Silver arowanas can be kept with stingrays, oscars, parrot fish, flying fox fish, pineapple fish, and Siamese tiger fish. These are medium or large fish of similar size to the arowana, so they rarely clash, especially stingrays. Stingrays live mainly at the bottom with graceful swimming, adding beauty when kept with arowanas.

Silver arowanas are not suitable with very small, gentle fish, or the arowana may bully them.
