The veiled chameleon is a very famine-tolerant animal and will not starve even without food for 2-3 weeks, but if it has neither food nor water, the time it can last is shorter. Although long fasting will not kill it, it easily harms its health, so the owner should feed it regularly.
Generally, feed an adult veiled chameleon once a day and stop feeding 1-2 days a week. If it is not yet an adult, feed it 2-3 times a day, each time to about 70-80% full.
