What are Bloodhounds like?

The Bloodhound is one of the oldest and largest scent hounds, with an extremely keen sense of smell and strong tracking ability; it can follow scents over 14 days old. Its temperament is steady; it is friendly toward children and other small animals and very patient.

However, Bloodhounds are food-protective and may attack if someone grabs their food or toys; some will even warn anyone who approaches while they are eating.
