How long does it take for a cat to recover from coccidiosis?

Feline coccidiosis is a parasitic disease caused by coccidia, with symptoms of mild fever, reduced appetite, indigestion and diarrhea, and in severe cases bloody stool, anemia, dehydration and systemic failure.

With timely treatment, the sick cat usually improves or recovers within 2-3 weeks of symptomatic care. After infection, diclazuril can kill the coccidia in 3-5 days, but underlying issues like intestinal inflammation should also be found and treated.
