Back peeling may come from sunburn, dry skin, wrong bathing or skin disease. For sunburn, keep the dog in and apply after-sun or aloe gel. In dry seasons add a humidifier for moisture. Over-bathing or human shampoo causes heavy flaking, so use pet shampoo no more than weekly. Fungal skin disease needs antibacterial spray and ketoconazole ointment.
