My 2-year-old cat suddenly sneezes, has nosebleeds, vomits, and won’t eat

A cat sneezing may have suffered external trauma to the nose or head, bursting nasal capillaries and causing bleeding. Also, respiratory infections or lung infections such as feline herpes, calicivirus, or pneumonia cause frequent sneezing and nasal mucosal bleeding, and in serious cases refusal to eat, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Dry weather can also cause nosebleeds. All these situations are fairly serious, so it is best to go to a vet promptly for respiratory virus screening, blood work, and imaging to find the cause and treat it in time.
