As long as the rabbit’s daily diet is clean and hygienic and you avoid feeding overly watery foods, the rabbit is unlikely to get diarrhea. Regularly clean the water bottle and food bowl, and promptly remove uneaten hay from the cage to prevent spoilage and bacteria that harm gut health.
Also avoid feeding too much fresh fruit and vegetables, especially very watery ones like lettuce, cabbage, and watermelon, to prevent loose stools. Finally, deworm regularly to avoid diarrhea caused by gut parasites such as coccidia and tapeworms.
