What is the Alaskan dog like?

The Alaskan’s pros are its large size, cute as a pup and handsome as an adult with high looks. It is friendly, lively, eager to please, and gentle to strangers without random barking.

As an adult it is calm and quiet, fluffy and comfy to hug. Its cons are heavy shedding needing frequent brushing, modest intelligence and low obedience making training hard, and high energy needing much exercise and food, a fair daily cost.
