What Breed Is the Lion Dog?

The Lion Dog is China’s Pekingese, also called the Fu dog, palace lion dog, or Peking palas—a very ancient native pet dog. The Lion Dog is gentle, relatively friendly, and lively, bringing its owner much fun during training.

But the Lion Dog is very jealous and wants all the owner’s attention, so it treats children and other family members as rivals and is therefore more suited to single owners. Keep its environment clean; because its coat is long, a dirty home makes the dog look unkempt and easily causes skin disease.
