Around day 13 eyes open; never force them open and avoid bright light before then to protect vision.
After day 20: let the mother lead freer activity in good weather. Keep warm and dry; towel off if rained on. Trim puppy nails once to avoid scratching the mother’s teats.
At one month: deworm and regularly brush and clean the puppies.
