Why should a dog wear a muzzle?

First, a muzzle controls behavior: it prevents the dog from eating random things and from biting, avoiding unnecessary accidents and trouble.

Second, a muzzle is required in some settings, such as during medical exams or grooming when the dog may bite from stress. In public, it also reduces the chance of disturbing or panicking others.
