If you are new to hamsters, spend more time playing and interacting—offer toys, hand-feed a snack, or gently stroke the head—so the hamster learns your scent and surroundings; the twitching stops once it adapts. If the shaking seems temperature-related, add wood shavings and a small towel to the cage for warmth; a cold hamster will burrow in on its own.
