Why does my dog keep sneezing?

A dog that keeps sneezing may be reacting to odor irritation, a foreign object in the nose, a respiratory infection, or allergic rhinitis. First, dogs have a keen sense of smell, and smells like perfume, disinfectant, chili, or insecticide can cause frequent sneezing, so ventilate the room. Second, dogs are curious and may get debris in the nose while sniffing or digging, irritating them to sneeze; flush it out with saline. Also, a cold causes frequent sneezing, and if you see runny nose or cough, give cold medicine promptly. Finally, allergic rhinitis makes a dog sneeze often in certain seasons and needs veterinary attention.
