Neck scratching without ringworm may be bug bites, allergies or other skin disease. Without regular deworming, fleas, lice, ticks or mites may be present – deworm externally and keep clean.

Allergic cats react to food or pollen or dust mites, causing itch and rashes needing a vet. A Wood’s lamp misses some fungi (only some fluoresce), so confirm with a skin scrape.
