Why can’t my dog get pregnant?

There are many reasons a dog fails to conceive: mating at the wrong time, or body problems such as infertility. Reproductive diseases like ovarian malformation or tumors prevent normal ovulation and cause infertility.

Low hormone secretion or endocrine disease can also cause it. If several matings fail, take the dog to a vet for a check.
