Expert Answer

A Pomeranian becomes an adult at around 12 months of age, after which its appetite increases greatly and its food intake becomes two to three times that of puppyhood. In most cases an adult Pomeranian weighs about 2 to 2.5 kg with a shoulder height of around 22 cm; if it falls short, the dog is undernourished and the owner should adjust its diet and provide more nutrition, such as more protein- and fat-rich meats.
