Budgerigars grow full feathers at 1 to 1.5 months and can fly at 2 months. Newborns are under 5 cm, bare, eyes closed, unable to stand, very fragile. By about 15 days feathers grow fast and they can stand. Full feathers take about 45 days, but slow ones may take 2 months.
