3. Sow thistle (lettuce): protein 2.6%, fiber 10%, NFE 40%, dried crude protein 26%, vitamin-rich. Loved at all ages, but must be fresh and cleanβno dew or undried washed leaves. About 750β1000 g daily.
4. Pumpkin: protein 1%, fat 0.3%, fiber 1.2%, NFE 6.8%, plus soluble sugar, starch, carotene. Use ripe red pumpkins, steamed and mixed with other feed; about 300β400 g per doe daily.
