What Sounds Attract a Hamster?

Hamsters are generally attracted by the sound of cracking sunflower seeds; if one hides, try loudly cracking seeds to lure it out. But compared with sound, hamsters are more attracted by smell—use its favorite foods like seeds, peanuts, sunflower, and mealworms.

If a hamster often escapes, lock the cage; when letting it out to play, put it in a running ball or fence an area with books so it plays inside.
