White small dog breeds include the Bichon Frise, white Poodle, Pomeranian, Papillon, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Maltese, Chihuahua and Japanese Spitz. The most popular are the Bichon and the Pomeranian. The Pomeranian looks very cute, with a mouth that curves into a smile, so owners grow fonder the more they look. Plus it is lively and smart, making raising it great fun.

The Bichon looks similar to a Teddy but comes only in white, overall resembling an adorable cotton-candy ball. Bichons are very friendly, gentle and obedient, and fairly easy to keep.
