What is the Chow Chow like?

The Chow Chow originates from Tibet, China, an ancient breed over 2000 years old. Large, heavily boned and muscular, it looks majestic, yet its long thick fur gives a cute impression.

Its temperament is introverted and independent, not clingy like other pets, usually resting quietly, but it is very loyal and will protect its owner at all costs. Downsides are heavy drooling (needs cleaning) and snoring, so it is not ideal for light sleepers.
