What if a cat is given too much internal dewormer?

Too much dewormer may poison the cat, as the drugs are toxic and dosed strictly by weight; some are irritating and upset the stomach, causing vomiting, drooling, foaming, diarrhea, lethargy, and poor appetite.

Take the cat to a vet promptly. If only a little extra with no symptoms, give more water and observe.
