What happens if a Teddy dog eats too much salt?

Teddy dogs that eat too much salt place an extra burden on the kidneys and are prone to hair loss, heavy tear stains, thirst, reduced urination, poor appetite, and listlessness.

If a large amount of salt is ingested at once, it can draw water out of the body and cause dehydration, leading to dry mouth, low energy, and dry eyes. Too much salt can also irritate the stomach and intestines, causing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

In severe cases, salt poisoning may occur, with symptoms such as twitching, drooling, and difficulty breathing, which require immediate veterinary care.
