What Happens If a Dog Eats Human Meals?

Generally avoid human meals; they are high in oil, salt, soy sauce, chili and spices, burdening the gut and causing vomiting, diarrhea, poor appetite, malnutrition, hair loss and tear stains.

Never feed chocolate, grapes, onion or garlic, which poison dogs.

Base the diet on complete dog food; if none, give a little plain boiled meat and vegetables with a pinch of salt but no other seasoning.
