What Happens as a Dog Gets Old?

As a dog gets old, its body functions gradually decline; smell, vision and hearing weaken, and reaction and mobility drop.

Older dogs easily develop age-related diseases such as joint, dental, digestive and heart problems.

They are usually less active with longer sleep, and some show cognitive dysfunction, seeming unfamiliar with family and surroundings.

Spend more time with an aging dog, add nutrition, and see a vet for any abnormal signs.
