What fish can discus fish be kept with?

Discus fish suit being kept with same-family fish such as platies, swordtails, black mollies, penguin fish and black skirts, and also some cyprinids like rosy barbs, zebra danios, rainbow sharks and red-tailed black sharks.

When mixing discus with other fish, give them enough space and keep water quality good and food ample. Avoid keeping discus with very large fish to prevent fighting.
