What does an angry cat look like?

An angry cat will usually puff up its fur, arch its back and hiss, emitting a low warning growl from its throat while staring straight at you with an intense gaze. Its tail will also swing from side to side, and if you keep approaching it may flee or attack.

When you notice the cat is already angry, do not keep approaching it. Wait until its mood returns to normal, then offer a snack to soothe it.
