What do rabbit sounds mean?

When a rabbit is angry it usually makes a low cooing sound, and the owner should try not to keep approaching to avoid being bitten. When a rabbit is frightened or in physical pain, it makes a mouse-like sharp scream, and the owner should promptly check whether it is injured.

Also, when threatened a rabbit may make a snorting sound, and the owner should comfort it in time; if the rabbit refuses contact, move it to a quiet place to rest. Finally, a happy rabbit makes a soft teeth-grinding sound, but if the grinding is loud it may indicate a dental problem.
