Cats can see blue, yellow, green, and so on. A cat’s visual system relies mainly on rod cells, which see objects better in dim light. A cat’s eyes lack the cones that sense red, so cats cannot tell red apart and usually see red objects as yellow-gray. Cats also cannot see orange or brown.
