What can replace cat grass?

Cat grass helps move hairballs out of a cat’s stomach, and feeding it regularly can prevent hairball syndrome. Cat hairball paste works the same way, so if you have no cat grass at home you can use hairball paste instead. Some cats may dislike cat grass; in that case the owner can feed hairball paste regularly to promote intestinal movement and help the cat pass hairballs. To prevent hairball syndrome, the owner should also brush the cat often and clean up loose fur promptly to keep the cat from swallowing too much hair.
