White-capped conures are medium, colorful and pretty. Intelligent, with training they can learn 30 plus tricks. As adults they are gentle and cuddly, enjoying interaction and being petted.

They shed little, less feather dust than cockatiels, but are aloof as chicks and very active, needing toys or they scream and bite.
