Today my dog was hit by a car; no visible injury and it could still jump, but at home it keeps vomiting, now seven times.

Vomiting after a dog is hit may indicate internal injury or head trauma. There is generally a 48-hour danger period after impact, so seek a full veterinary exam promptly rather than assuming the dog is fine because it can jump; serious internal bleeding or concussion must be caught early.

The vomiting may come from dizziness, nausea, or expansion of the liver, spleen, or stomach, and needs examination and medication. If a visit is not immediately possible, withhold food and water and keep the dog company; only once it safely passes the danger period without ongoing nausea is it likely fine.
