Feline cystitis — from infection, stones, or idiopathic causes — shows as frequent, painful urination, blood in urine, straining, or blockage, and is painful enough to need prompt care. Broad-spectrum antibiotics tackle infection; severe stones need surgery, and a blocked cat is an emergency.
