Can a dog’s damaged internal organs heal on their own?

Internal organ damage generally cannot heal on its own; without prompt, correct treatment the condition worsens and can be fatal. After a fall or impact, take the dog for an X-ray to locate and gauge the damage, then treat accordingly, with diet and care per the vet's advice.
