Why does a dog get pyoderma?

Canine pyoderma can be caused by parasitic infection, allergies, endocrine problems, or immune deficiency. If the owner does not deworm the dog long-term and it is infected with mites such as scabies or demodex, small pus bumps may appear on the skin. Long-term exposure to allergens can cause allergic pyoderma.
