1. Fur Around the Mouth Yellows

The long fur by the mouth gets dirty and yellow from eating and drinking; if not wiped, the constant damp leads to staining.

2. Strong Curiosity

It explores everything by tasting and chewing, so it easily eats the wrong thing and gets stomach trouble. Teach it what is and isn’t food while letting it explore.

3. Vengeful Streak

Petty and vindictive, if offended it may retaliate by wrecking the home or soiling, and repeats it until it cools off even after a scolding.

4. Likes to Pick Fights

Small but bold and hot-tempered, it will challenge bigger or smaller dogs alike without fear, which frustrates many owners.

5. Prone to Fractures

Sturdy but fracture-prone; supplement calcium with tablets and give sunlight to aid absorption.

2 Care Notes

1. Full nutrition: feed age- and condition-appropriate food, puppy kibble for pups and adult for adults; use a gut-care prescription diet if digestion is poor.

2. Enough exercise: once a working hunting and guard dog, it still needs plenty of activity to avoid destructive boredom.

3. Regular baths and grooming: low-shedding but long-coated, so bathe and groom to prevent mats.

4. Regular deworming and vaccines: from about 45 days, deworm and vaccinate on schedule.

5. Timely neutering: heat starts around 8 months; if you plan to breed, do so after age 1 then neuter, or neuter before the first heat to cut reproductive-disease risk.

6. Socialization: its bark is loud, so train it not to bark freely and disturb neighbors.
