My turtle used to try to escape but became very quiet last night and stays still in the water today; does it have white-eye disease?

White-eye disease usually shows white matter over the eyes, covering them, with inflammation, redness, and swollen eyes, and the cornea and nasal membrane erode. The turtle is dull, loses interest in food, fears light, moves slowly, and scratches its eyes, and may die.

Causes include poor water, bacteria, and fights. Compare these signs; if they are absent, it may not be white-eye disease. Keep observing; if the turtle becomes active again, it may be fine.
