My Parrot Was Accidentally Stepped On and Made a Crack Sound

After a parrot is stepped on, first check its whole body to see where and how it is hurt. If the injury is to a wing or leg, it is basically external trauma; though it may survive, disinfect and bandage the spot at once and cage it for a while, and even if it does not fully recover it will not be life-threatening. However, if the abdomen or head is injured, bones and internal organs may be damaged and you may hear a crisp crack; internal and head injuries are urgent, so rush to a clinic if severe symptoms appear, as some may die before help. When keeping parrots, watch every step at home and avoid letting them roam freely indoors.
