My kitten went out, came back pregnant, seemed to labor a week ago but only blood came—what is wrong?

Vaginal bleeding during a cat’s pregnancy, if not near term, may signal miscarriage and needs a vet B-ultrasound to find the cause. The pregnancy is about two months; if near term with frequent bleeding but no delivery, it may be fetal dissolution or uterine infection with bloody discharge lasting 5-7 days.
