My dog has some scars on its skin, what caused this?

From the picture, the dog’s hair loss, scabs, and red rashes are generally from skin disease, such as fungal or bacterial infection, parasite or mite infestation, allergic dermatitis, or eczema. Get a skin microscope exam at the clinic to confirm and treat specifically.

Long-moist fur easily causes this. If fungal, use a pet skin spray or ketoconazole ointment; severe cases may need medicated baths or oral drugs plus regular external deworming, and an Elizabethan collar to stop chewing.
