My cat stole a small piece of chicken bone at 3:40 am what should I do?

If a cat ate a fairly large chicken bone, first open its throat to see if the bone is visible. If you cannot find it and it was eaten less than two hours ago, take the cat to the clinic promptly for an X-ray or endoscopic removal, otherwise the bone may lodge in the throat or intestine and cause choking or obstruction.
