My 2.5-month Pomeranian arrived yesterday, had normal stool, then diarrhea and vomiting; today it is weak, hind legs limp, eyes closed. What is wrong?

A newly arrived puppy’s vomiting and diarrhea points to gastritis, stress, parasites, or parvovirus or coronavirus. If not fully vaccinated, infection is likely, so first get infectious-disease and stool screening at a vet.

Early frequent vomiting and diarrhea need fasting and no water, so go to the vet for targeted treatment, fluids, acid-base balance and dehydration control. If negative for infection, blood tests can confirm enteritis, treated with quinolones and adsorbent antidiarrheals; parasite causes need prompt deworming.
