Is it good to feed dogs raw eggs?

Feeding dogs raw eggs is not a good idea, because raw eggs may carry bacteria and parasites that harm gut health, and long-term feeding can cause diarrhea. Also, raw egg white contains a lot of avidin; too much of it blocks the dog’s absorption of biotin (vitamin H) and affects growth and development.

If you do want to feed raw eggs, buy safer edible-grade eggs, and separate out the white so the dog eats only the yolk.
