Is it good for a nursing dog to eat eggs?

It is quite good for a postpartum dog to eat eggs, because eggs are rich in protein and fat, helping replenish the large amount of energy spent in delivery and nursing. But be sure to feed cooked eggs only, to avoid parasitic or bacterial enteritis.

Besides eggs, you can also give goat-milk formula, chicken breast, beef, crucian-carp soup and bone broth — foods high in protein and water — to add nutrition and increase milk production.
