Mouth fur loss may be skin disease, and after you applied ringworm medicine without protection the cat licked it and drooled. Antifungal medicine can poison a cat that licks it, showing lethargy, drooling and poor appetite, and large amounts can harm liver and kidneys.

During skin treatment use a strict Elizabethan collar; near the mouth, do not apply antifungal directly. Disinfect locally, boost immunity, and ask a vet about oral antifungals for whole-body effect.
