A hard hit to the mouth can injure the head; whether the mouth twists needs watching for a tilted head or abnormal bite, as it can cause irreversible damage to bone growth and facial nerves. If so, go to a vet at once for an exam and X-ray to tell fracture from dislocation and plan treatment.
