The owner should prepare flushable tofu or paper litter and a training tray made for teaching cats to use the toilet. To avoid the cat rejecting the sudden change, first mix old and new litter for a while, then gradually switch to the new litter; once adapted, start training. First place the litter box next to the toilet so the cat gets used to the bathroom.
After 2-3 days, put a solid (no-hole) training tray on the toilet with some of the cat’s used litter, and put away the original box. After the cat uses the solid tray, switch to a tray with small holes, then later to one with larger holes. Once all trays are removed and the cat can stand on the toilet to relieve itself, training is successful.
